Young professionals participate in Impact Academy staff coaching event in Dublin
12 June 2024
Ambitious professionals from Alliott Global Alliance (‘AGA’) member firms from across the world met in Dublin, Ireland earlier this month for the 2024 Impact Academy Staff Coaching Program which is designed to build leadership skills and business acumen.
Some 40 attendees from Europe, North America and the Middle East enjoyed a unique program of learning and practical business sessions, networking and social activities aimed at creating long term impact at their firms and building their own personal brand.
Taking place annually, this carefully constructed and very practical two-day staff training program exposes delegates to the benefits of AGA, builds high level leadership skills, and assists potential future leaders at AGA law and accounting member firms to develop an effective international peer group. It is designed to help any member of staff to reach their next level, and adds value to the HR and talent management program of member firms that are invested in the development of their team members.
The business sessions commenced with a welcome and introduction to AGA by Sophia Rook-Blackstone, AGA’s Membership Growth Manager. Leadership coaches, Joanna Keeling and Elisabet Vinberg Hearn then proceeded to facilitate the first of their interactive sessions concentrating on motivation and engagement and strategies to create long-term impact.
The second day began with a hands-on workshop focused on self-leadership, which included how to understand your strengths, devising a learning and career development plan, and how to cultivate professional relationships both within and outside of the alliance. The training concluded with a module on how to build a personal professional brand and how to evaluate the current and potential impact of your individual performance at work.
The event’s training sessions were interspersed with unique opportunities to network and experience the culture and hospitality on offer in Dublin.
Giles Brake, CEO of Alliott Global Alliance comments:
“Ensuring that the next generation of leaders possesses the necessary skills to advance to senior roles within their firms is a constant and primary concern for today’s mid-size professional services firm. Therefore, we are again greatly encouraged by the number of ambitious and proactive professionals who participated in our 2024 training event. Early feedback suggests program has once again succeeded in making a significant impact on their personal and professional lives.”
