Ouassim Akil appointed to Alliott Group’s EMEA Regional Advisory Committee

We are pleased to announce that Ouassim Akil, Managing Partner of accounting firm member AKONSEIL in Morocco, has been appointed to the EMEA Advisory Committee of Alliott Group, the global alliance of independent accounting and law firms.

Formerly of PwC Morocco and an Alliott Group member since January 2019, Ouassim and his experienced team offer tax, accounting, payroll, corporate financial advisory and audit services to national and multinational companies in the pharmaceutical, retail, manufacturing, construction, real estate and transportation sectors.

Advisory committee members act in an advisory and supportive capacity to members in their region and are the “eyes” and “ears” feeding back their views to the Worldwide Advisory Committee and the Worldwide Board.

Ouassim’s appointment comes at a time of significant growth right across the EMEA region, but specifically in Africa, with new firms joining within the last 16 months in Kenya, Morocco, Tunisia, Nigeria and Zimbabwe.
