Kathleen Gaber joins Illinois' top one percent with American Bar Foundation fellowship

Election as fellow of American Bar Foundation sees Chicago immigration attorney Kathie Gaber reach apex of profession.
Chicago law member Masuda Funai announces that Kathleen Gaber, Chair of the Immigration Practice Group, has been elected a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation (ABF).
Kathleen Gaber is a frequent speaker on immigration issues for clients and organizations. She has been quoted in print and on air for National Public Radio. For over 13 years, Ms. Gaber has also been assisting the world renowned Joffrey Ballet to bring ballet dancers, ballet masters, choreographers, repetiteurs, lighting designers, costume designers, musicians and other supporting staff to the US to assist them with Joffrey’s productions.

Established in 1955, the American Bar Foundation Fellows is a global honorary organization that recognizes attorneys, judges, law faculty and legal scholars who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the highest principles of the legal profession and to the welfare of their communities. Membership in the Fellows is limited to one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. Ms. Gaber was nominated by her peers and elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation.
Ms. Gaber received her J.D. from Emory University and a B.B.A. and B.A. from the University of Michigan with recognition as an Evans Scholar.
