21 tax professionals gather in Milan for International Tax Training

21 tax professionals from 11 countries will be in Milan from 18-19 October for the latest international tax training programme led once again by strategic tax training partner, the IBFD. The programme has been set up by the alliance's highly active International Tax Services Group.

This programme is the third organised in partnership with the IBFD – in September 2017, the first training session took place in Amsterdam and was focused on transfer pricing. This was followed by a second session in Prague in May 2018 focusing on post-BEPS international tax structures.

The strategic partnership with the IBFD enables Alliott Group members to access high level cross border technical tax training at very competitive reduced rates.

The programme begins on Thursday in the evening with a pre-training dinner. On Friday, the training day will be hosted at the offices of local Milan accounting firm BES Associati, and will be split into two sessions, with the morning focused on the changing VAT landscape in the EU region, followed by an afternoon looking at the evolving rules around Permanent Establishment in the light of Action 7 of the Base Erosion & Profit Shifting project (BEPS).

This event provides excellent opportunities for members to not only acquire international tax expertise that will improve their status as ‘trusted advisers’, but to also network with tax colleagues from all over Europe with whom members can collaborate to better service existing clients and win new clients.
