Former alliance Chair John Kleopas joins speaks on panel alongside industry leaders at JP Morgan sponsored wealth management conference in Athens
On April 27 2017, Athens accountant and tax advisor John Kleopas was a guest on a panel at the 7th Wealth Management Forum in Greece, a conference sponsored by JP Morgan whose focus was the global economic outlook and of course the Greek economy which has been aiming to re-establish itself since 2009. The event brought industry leaders together to discuss and analyse issues including:
- Asset classes investors and family offices should focus on
- Current geopolitical developments and immigration and the impact for Europe and the rest of the world
- Tax planning and compliance in the wealth management sector with focus on compliance with local regulations and how to manage structures with reasonable costs and flexibility.
John Kleopas was invited to participate on a panel focused on tax planning and compliance and spoke extensively about wealth management tax strategy. The panel featured other well-respected Greek lawyers, accountants and management consultants.
