Lee & Lee Associates:
News from Ken Lee at Lee & Lee Associates, China:
Lee & Lee Associates, AGA’s accounting member firm in Beijing, successfully won a bid to work for a client based in Germany and which is looking to use China’s advanced online platforms to go to market with its products in China. Ken Lee and team will undertake accounting, tax, HR, employee visa, and other ad hoc consulting for the client.

News from Paris Barns at Allan Hall Business Advisors in Sydney:
Paris Barns and team at Allan Hall Business Advisors, AGA’s accounting firm in Sydney recently worked with Ajen Prasad, Partner at Canadian based member firm Prasad & Company to assist a client with tax obligations for their Australian property.
Allan Hall also worked with Sergio Torras from AGA accounting firm in Spain, Torras & Asociados, to assist a client who was seeking advice in relation to relocating to Spain to take part in a global sporting event.
Allan Hall also sought advice from Alliott NZ, AGA’s accounting member in Auckland, for a client who is a shareholder in a New Zealand company and who is soon to become an Australian Tax resident due to a change in its ownership structure.
Coinmen Consultants:
News from Coinmen Consultants, India:
Here is some of the highlights of the client wins and collaborative AGA work of our member in Mumbai, Coinmen Consultants.
- Introducing a client to fellow member firm KB Chitracar in Nepal who required advisory and compliance services in relation to local regulations.
- Introducing a client to Susanne Stark, tax expert at AGA firm Provida Consulting to undertake due diligence services in Switzerland.
- Introducing a client to AGA accounting member firm Audalis, Germany for company incorporation and related compliance work in the country.
- Coinmen Consultants are also working with member firm JBS Audit, based in Singapore, on tax and accounting outsourcing work in India and JBS is also assisting Coinmen to set up a Singapore entity for one of their clients.
- They collaborated with Eldad Kaufman, from Kaufman Accounting, PC in Israel, and Eric Swerdlow, from Farkouh, Furman & Faccio in New York on a global transfer pricing proposal for a client based in Hong Kong and doing business in the US.
The firm has also gained several new clients from across the world for various new assignments including:
- Helping an Indian software service provider and a Russian fire safety equipment manufacturer with their global restructuring projects.
- Retaining the services of a Spanish automation and technology company.
- Helping an Indian HR firm to set up global operations, starting with the UK and the US.
Kemps Weir Lawyers:
News from Stuart Weir at Kemps Weir Lawyers, New Zealand:
Kemps Weir Lawyers and Alliott NZ Accountants are working together on the restructuring of the New Zealand based operations of an Irish domiciled multinational company.
They are also working with Broadley Rees Hogan, AGA law firm member in Queensland, Australia, to assist a New Zealand based client with the purchase of an ocean-going ship from a vendor in Queensland.
The team at Kemps Weir has also reported that:
- They were appointed as the subdivision specialist by Auckland based property Hugh Green Group, to assist with their NZD$900m + property development in Redhills West Auckland and their $500m + property development in Karaka, South Auckland.
- They acted on the successful sale of 100% of the shares in a private hospital that had over 30 shareholders and a transaction size of more than NZD$35m.
- They acted for vendors in the sale of their nationwide forklift business to Jungheinrich, a German multinational. Kemps Weir has subsequently been appointed to act for Jungheinrich on future commercial legal work in New Zealand.
