AGA expands in Eurasia with appointment of Ak Danis Attorney Partnership in Turkey and Azerbaijan

Founded in 2022 by Ali Emre Ak and Şamil Daniş in Istanbul and by Maharat Huseynli in Baku, the firm offers corporate and M&A, arbitration & disputes, international commerce & trade and ethics & compliance legal services, and the team has extensive experience of working on complex projects for large international corporations in Azerbaijan, Turkey and further afield.

Working mainly across the energy & mining, construction & infrastructure, venture capital, food, and textile sectors, the partners have retained an impressive client portfolio gained through their previous experiences of working in-house for international law firms and organisations, and they have forged relationships over the years with many consulates and embassies. They currently sit on several executive committees on business council boards including MUSIAD’s Diplomatic Relations Committee, DIIK's Turkey Azerbaijan Business Council, and they are a member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Turkey.

Business is conducted at the firm in the English, Turkish and Azerbaijani languages.
