Building a brighter future together: 90 accountants and lawyers to arrive in Vancouver for Worldwide Conference

The international alliance’s 2018 theme of Building a Future-Proof Professional Firm continues at the Worldwide Conference in Vancouver from 27-31 August.

Alliott Group, an international association of independent accounting and law firms opens the doors to its Worldwide Conference this weekend at the Pan Pacific Vancouver with 90 registered delegates from 28 countries across the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.

Over four days, delegates will network, collaborate and learn from each other and carefully curated speakers from the military and the world of business and marketing about the strategies that will be required in a fast-changing client world to ensure a more sustainable and profitable tomorrow.

Keynote speakers

Keynote speakers include fighter pilot David ‘Finch’ Guenthner of Afterburner, a veteran of 80 combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. David will lead a half-day workshop giving insights into how the Flawless Execution framework can help firms to drive accountability, increase agility and accelerate performance. Other speakers include business growth strategy expert Ford Saeks of Prime Concepts Group, a best-selling author, founder of 17 companies and the genius behind many successful business ventures; David Chavez of Assured Strategies, a former CPA who coaches CEOs and executive teams in people strategy, execution, leadership and team building; and Missy Jena of calmversation, an educator, innovator and professional speaker who has developed a system to dissolve barriers to learning, leadership and communication.

Increased focus on business development through specialisation

Reflecting Alliott Group’s focus on supporting its members to become more visible experts to each other and to entrepreneurial businesses and high net worth individuals in their local markets, a whole day will be dedicated to meetings of special interest groups. Sessions focused on M&A, global mobility, tax, transfer pricing, private wealth, commercial real estate and legal services will bring members together from across the professions to discuss collaborative opportunities and best practice and to co-create growth strategies for each specialist group.

40 years in business

This year, Alliott Group enters its 40th year in business and plans for a year of celebrating cross-border collaboration across the world are taking shape. The alliance now includes 152 firm in 63 countries and 160 cities.
