Biography

Oneyda was admitted to practice as an Attorney-at-Law in Belize in 2011 and was granted a Commission to practice as a Notary Public in Belize in 2017. She has developed her practice over the years focusing mainly in the areas of Intellectual Property, Corporate & Commercial Law, Maritime Law, Contract Law, Offshore Law, Real Estate, Insurance Law, Asset Protection, Compliance and Corporate Services.

She is a graduate of the University of Belize having been awarded a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, in 2005. In 2009 Oneyda was awarded a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the West Indies.

On 8th October 2011 she graduated from the Norman Manley Law School, in Kingston, Jamaica and was awarded with a Certificate of Legal Education. Oneyda has also served as the Secretary of the Bar Association of Belize and currently serves as the Belize Delegate of the Asociacion Interamericana de la Propiedad Intelectual (ASIPI).
