Biography
Mariam is a partner in the firm's Tax practice group. Her practice focuses on all aspects of domestic and international tax planning, with particular emphasis on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, corporate finance, investment funds and executive compensation. Mariam has extensive experience in Canadian income tax and has represented a diverse range of clients ranging from start-ups, multinational private and public corporations, investment funds, pension funds and high-net worth individuals. Mariam is also a recipient of the 2023 Lexpert Rising Stars Award.
