Biography

Cecil is an Associate Partner with the firm and the head of the Labour and Criminal Law department. He is an exceptional litigator who handles a significant labour and employment law portfolio which include, employer and employee representation in internal disciplinary hearings, conciliation and arbitration, Labour Court and Supreme Court.
He also offers exceptional advisory services on all labour matters pertaining to contract drafting and reviewing, recruitment, company codes of conduct, restructuring and retrenchments. He is well versed in drafting persuasive briefs and advisory opinions with an analytical mind. His criminal law practice includes police station representation, prosecution vetting, initial court appearances and criminal trials.

He also has a keen interest in data privacy and electronic commerce law and he is expanding his involvement and knowledge in this area of the law.
