Biography

Boris studied law at Humboldt University of Berlin and Queen Mary College of London (Centre of Commercial Law) and graduated at the law faculty of Konstanz University. Starting his career as the inhouse counsel of a start-up company in the online gaming sector he realized that what he really wanted was to be a professional lawyer. In 2007 he became member of the Berlin Bar and took his first assignment with audalis where he became partner in 2013. Mainly occupied with commercial and company law at first he soon found that litigation is his passion. He specialises in liabilty and insurance law where he advises companies of different sectors. Moreover he represents several German and European insurances companies and their customers before courts all over Germany. In 2017 he became chartered specialist lawyer (Fachanwalt) on insurance law. Boris is also co-author of the practitioners handbooks: Bisges, Manual on event law, 2017, Erich Schmidt Publisher Roeckrath, Manual on culture management, 2018, DUZ Medienhaus Publisher in which he is responsible for the insurance law sections. Another focus is cyber security insurance law.
