This young, but ambitious firm is the brainchild of partners Richard Okia and Gonzaga Mugumya. Richard was instrumental in the setting up of Crowe Howarth Uganda, is a Certified Forensic Investigations Professional and has consulted for projects funded by USAID, Swedish and Dutch Governments, World Bank and DFID. Gonzaga Mugumya, formerly Audit Manager at Standard Chartered and at PWC, has career experience from all over Africa and the UAE. They are growing fast and they are very well connected to the business community; these include Richard’s contacts as a former professional cricketer, playing for Uganda (he is now a selector for the national teams).
The firm is keen to develop its GM practice and expand into International Tax and Transfer Pricing over the next two years. They are members of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda, the Institute of Forensic Investigation Professionals, the Association of Compliance Professionals Africa and other professional associations from the UK and USA.
